I expected nothing less than the very best of contemporary South African art and design - and I was not disappointed. The 16th Annual Design Indaba was an amazing display of the latest creative innovations in South Africa. From Cape Town's World Design Capital bid space to the scintillating jewellery design exhibits, the Indaba's floor space was saturated with awe-inspiring art. With eight fashion shows, a "Pecha Kucha" presentation, and on-site design competitions, my first Design Indaba was an amazing experience, and it definitely won't be my last.
