Well, I know I said the next post would be on Baie Nice, but it's not quite ready. In the mean time, enjoy the David West A/W '11 collection shown at the 2011 Design Indaba:

This collection, entitled "What Once Was New Is Old?" and inspired by "Le Sacre du Printemps", isn't really me, but I am a fan of David's work in general. The models walked around with blank faces like lost souls; the smoke and the music was reminiscent of creepy cemetery scenes in movies. One of my lecturers told me that she actually lectured Mr.West at CPUT in 1996 (which means he's pushing 40), which is incredible because he simply does not look that old! I didn't get a picture of him because he's notoriously shy; he was visible for about 3 seconds after the lap of honor. So here's one of David West (that he was probably begged to pose for) at Woolworths' HQ:

Lots of love, Bellas. :)
